Sixteen year old Ben Crosland is a veteran of competitive racing with over two years of racing experience. As a professional driver, Ben has traversed land and sea to fine tune his skill, racing at such renowned tracks as the Nürburgring in Nürburg, Germany and the Miller Motor Sports Park in Tooele, Utah. Ben scored a first place win among US drivers at the BMW racing school at the Nürburgring, as well as a second place in the Mustang Challenge division of the Miller Motor Sports MPRA Racing Series and two additional first place finishes in the MPRA Series. Ben resides in Salt Lake City, Utah and is a sophomore at The Waterford School. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, four wheeling and playing lacrosse. Ben is sponsored by Interbank FX

Scott Tucker
Scott is no stranger to the Grand-Am Rolex Series as he is co-driver of the Level 5 Motorsports Ferrari. Scott has started more than 70 races and has 17 podium finishes and nine wins in series such as Grand-Am Rolex GT/KONI, Ferrari Challenge, IMSA Lites and IMSA Porsche GT-3 Cup and SCCA's National Run-Offs. When asked about the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge Series Scott said, "The series is great, the team is outstanding and I'm just very happy with everything." Scott resides in Leawood, Kansas.

Ricky Ehrgott
Ricky is a full time driver in the UMARA National Midget series. The Michigan native has several midget wins and is looking to bring his driving talent to a higher lever by racing in the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge Series. Ricky comments about the Mustang Challenge, "I love the series, and the team is outstanding. I'm just very happy with everything."

Michael DeNino
Michael was born in Peekskill, New York and now calls Gaithersburg, Maryland home, is dedicated to developing his career as a professional race driver. Michael has competed in the Skip Barber Series at both regional and national levels. In ‘07, Michael had four podiums in eight starts and in ’08 was awarded a $10,000 racing scholarship in the Skip Barber Karting Shoot-Out. Michael was also selected as a Volkswagen factory driver to compete in the inaugural season of the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup. Michael was awarded “Most Dedicated Driver” in the Jetta TDI Cup in ‘08 while finishing 7th in points. When not racing, you’ll find Michael Cycling, Running, Snowboarding and Rock Climbing in his free time.

Ed Lever
Ed is from La Jolla, CA and is an Instructor at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and an UCSD Physics Professor. He is also a Physics Lecturer in UC San Diego and is finishing his PhD degree. Ed ran his inaugural Mustang Challenge race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with SpeedWorks R&D earlier in the 2009 season and ran the final race of the Mustang Challenge season at Miller Motorsports Park with SpeedWorks R&D. Ed qualified 23rd and finished 19th.

Professional Celebrity Drivers

As the official factory “Arrive and Drive” team for the Mustang Challenge, Speedworks R&D had the privilege of having well known professional drivers Tommy Kendall Jr. and Scott Pruitt drive their cars in the fifty year Mustang Celebration at Barber Motorsports April 4, 2009. The event attracted over twenty five thousand Mustang fans from across the country to the beautiful Barber circuit. Kendal and Pruitt gave rides to members of the Ford Racing family around the facility at various time during the Grand-Am weekend. Pruitt has competed in NASCAR, Champ Car, IMSA, Trans-Am and Grand-Am and has won eight American sports car championships, two with Grand-Am (2004, 2008), to go along with previous championships in IMSA GTO (1986, 1988), Trans-Am Series (1987, 1994, 2003) and IMSA GT Endurance (1986). Kendall has an extensive career in sports car racing, winning the Rolex 24 in ‘93 and ’95.  Most recently, he has appeared on SPEED’s “Test Drive” and “Setup” TV series.
